The Party Hostess earns
Portrait Rewards
based on the total amount of sales from the party!

Sound great? Would you like to become a Portrait Party Hostess?

All you need is a room in your home (10X10 or larger) suitable for creating professional photographs.  A room with windows is okay; Natural light adds character  to each portrait.  You will be required to invite a minimum of 5 guest families to participate in the event, with a maximum of 12 guests. I would recommend providing refreshments & a few hors'doeuvres for your guests.

If you're interested in hosting a party,  contact me with  two available dates. I will provide you with Portrait Invitations to mail to your guests.  To ensure the number of desired guests, it is suggested that you  over invite.  Portrait Rewards are earned by a percentage of guest sales and by following party policies.  Your guests photography sessions should be scheduled 20 minutes apart & should be scheduled consecutively, (Leaving no gaps between sessions.
 

 

I will arrive 1 Hour  before the event to set up the session area and equipment. One background will be available. As the hostess, you have your choice of  background. Or, if you have a nice outdoor area at your home, that can be used as well. Remember that the entire party will use just one background. Be sure to let your guests know which background you will be using, so they can dress appropriately. Color, black & white, sepia or specialty-toned prints are available from any image. It is best for the session area to be located in a room away from the rest of the party (prevents the children from being distracted)

  

You will need to make sure that each family completes an Information Form before their session (provided by us).  Hostesses must remain at the Party the whole time. Please plan on visiting with any guests who'd like to stay and chat AFTER their session. Guests should plan on arriving no more than five minutes prior to their session time. If the little ones start playing before the session, it will be harder to settle them down for their portraits!

 

Guests can view their proofs online approximately 2 days after the event. When the proofs from the Party are posted online, Hostesses should contact each guest and let them know.  Each guest will receive a print order form at the event. You should remind guests of the ordering deadline, ( Usually 14 days after Party.)

The host collects all print orders. (orders must be paid when they are placed). I will accept cash & checks only.  Orders can also be paid using paypal, but please alert me ahead of time. Sales tax is already included in portrait costs. Hostesses receive 20% of the total party sales as a Portrait Reward. Hostess' order and any balance due should be submitted to me with the other party orders. I will deliver the finished portraits to the Hostess and you should arrange for delivery or pickup with your guests.
